Things you need to run copstalk with Windows 3.1:
------------------------------------------------
!PC v1.68 (anything after 1.50 should be OK)
RISCOS modules: (specified in !PC486.!run
 PCNE2 v1.67
 ETHER3 (For podule card) 1.43   (1.40 shoul.d be OK)
 Etherb (for internal card) 1.43

 packet type should be set to -pISO

DOS side:

install cops but need NE2000.DOS driver from WFWG (1993.11.01)

in config.sys:
PROTMAN.DOS (before HIMEM.SYS, I think)
NE2000.DOS (from WFWG) after HIMEM.SYS

ensure that PROTOCOL.INI (in same directory as PROTMAN.DOS) contains these
lines:
[ETHR2000_NIF]
Drivername = MS2000$
Interrupt = 5
IoBase = 0x340

[EtherTalk]
DRIVERNAME = COPSET$
BINDINGS = ETHR2000_NIF

in AUTOEXEC.BAT
C:\COPS\COPS5ET2
C:\LANMAN\NETBIND
C:\PCDOS\SHARE
C:\COPS\COPSNODE
C:\COPS\COPSHARE
then there are some optional bits and bobs

test it with the
CSHARE mount command (You need to know servername, zone(* for local), mount
name, new drive letter, logon name, password)

or try:
411
